3D technology has been sitting in the wings for decades. You've likely noticed many new theatrical releases are showing in 3D at your neighborhood theater.
Digital technology has now made 3D viewing possible in your home or man-cave!
If you'd like to sample 3D technology, Smart Home Pro has it on display in our new West Sedona showroom.

A new blog post arrived in the email this morning, announcing the Panasonic SC-ZT2 home cinema speakers. Don't get wildly excited just yet. Just announced in Munich, we don't know when they'll be in the USA and no pricing is available.
The concept behind these speakers is fantastic, and represents an emerging trend in whole room audio. 7.1 surround sound from a pair of clean tower speakers with down-firing subwoofers? Very nice!
So if they're not available and aren't priced, why even mention these speakers?
Because we field a lot questions about "wireless speakers," that's why.
First off, unless they're battery powered, "wireless speakers" aren't truly wireless. They need power for local in-speaker amplifiers. Wireless power is a really cool concept and I'm sure some research lab is making progress on that front. Until then, remember your wireless speaker's amplifier will need a power wire.
3D Television is certainly on the way, though perhaps still in the early stages as there are some standards to shake out.
Yes, BluRay and DirecTV will have 3D content first. You'll need one of the compatible new televisions by Mitsubishi, Panasonic, LG, Samsung or others.
Anyone stopping by the showroom recently will know that "thin is in." But it'll get better if OLED prices can come down and panel sizes can increase. I'd say OLED screens from LG and Samsung were under 1/4" thick, though LG did a better job of placing the electronics.
And yes, wireless is coming along but not really...
As a follow up to my earlier post on sound bars, specifically the sound bar included with the Mitsubishi Unisen, Mitsubishi Electronics put together some great overviews of this technology.
We have this on display in our showroom.
Adobe Flash Player not installed or older than 9.0.115!
The Unisen 249 Series has two additional mid-range speakers for even better sound (below the fold). . . (click "Read More")
The LG SL90 Series television is now available! This is a super-slim design – only 1.2" thick without the stand, and an awesome 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio for awesome black levels, made possible by using an edge-lit seamless LED panel.
The LED panel sports a 178° viewing angle!
Other notable features include:
Energy Star® 3.0 compliance
Backlight control
Invisible Speaker System
Video Mute
4 HDMI v1.3 with Deep Color (3 rear / 1 side)
USB 2.0 (1 side)
LG SL90 series televisions come in 42" and 47" sizes, and are NOT available at "big box" stores. Smart Home Pro can custom mount this television on an ultra-thin wall mount and bury all the wires for a super clean installation.

We all have a checklist when leaving the house for a while. Turn out the lights, set the thermostat, make sure the windows are closed, turn on the security and say goodbye for a while!
Our getaway developed an almost undetectable pinhole water leak in a pipe under the sink. A month later a neighbor checked the house, found the damage and called the water company. Too late!
